AUTHOR BIO:
 
Marvin Pirila graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1993 with a BBA in Finance and minor in Economics. He accepted a position with the United States Postal Service in 1988 and 1990 began supervising part-time. In 1992, he began to supervise full-time in mail processing and since has served as a Delivery Services Supervisor, Tour Superintendent, Postmaster, Operations Support Specialist, and Plant Manager. During this time, he received four awards for outstanding performance.
 
Mr. Pirila was the former editor/writer for a small newspaper. He continues to contribute articles to two newspapers, www.faithwriters.com, and www.northlandwatch.com (a personally supported site). He also worked as a tax professional before becoming Tax Partner for First Place Technologies, a web development LLC. In addition to tax preparation/bookkeeping, he wrote press releases, content, marketing pieces, and blogged.
