AUTHOR BIO:
Dr. Linda Williams Lockhart is a devoted educator, ministry leader, and passionate disciple-maker with a lifelong commitment to teaching and spiritual formation. A native of Boiling Springs, North Carolina, she dedicated over 30 years to Cleveland County Schools, serving as a Library Media Specialist and Extreme Reading Teacher before retiring in 2024.
 
Dr. Lockhart holds multiple academic degrees, including an Associate in Computer Programming, an Associate in Elementary Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Studies from Gardner-Webb University, and a Master of Library Science from Appalachian State University.
 
Following a clear calling from the Holy Spirit, she pursued theological training at the M. Christopher White School of Divinity, where she earned both her Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees.
 
She is the founder and CEO of U-Gotta Believe Ministries, LLC, where she leads discipleship training through the Discipleship Academy. Dr. Lockhart also serves as a teacher, Christian Education Director, adjunct professor of Christian Formation, and workshop facilitator, equipping believers to grow in faith and fulfill the Great Commission.
 
She has been married to Pastor Lockhart since 1986 and is a proud godmother. Her life and ministry are anchored in her prayer from Psalm 51:10: “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”
